Music has played a large role in my life from the beginning. As Treasurer of my a cappella group, Chordially Yours, I was responsible for managing all financial operations, including collecting member dues and creating detailed semester budgets. Our activities ranged from professionally recording music and producing merchandise to organizing out-of-state retreats and arranging transportation, all requiring careful financial planning. In addition to our twice-weekly rehearsals and regular performances, I served on the executive board, where we met weekly to coordinate logistics, events, and fundraising efforts that helped sustain and expand our creative goals. During my time with the group, we recorded multiple singles and produced an EP, all in collaboration with professional sound engineers and studios. These projects required months of preparation: from arranging and rehearsing each piece to planning recording schedules, managing studio logistics, and overseeing post-production. Beyond the creative process, I worked closely with the team to ensure our artistic vision was matched by strategic budgeting and efficient execution. The final products represent not just our sound, but the collective discipline, coordination, and passion of our group.
