Co-produced, shot, and edited a high-profile series of video tributes honoring nine community leaders and award recipients for the Cambridge Chamber of Commerce’s annual Inspire Awards.

Blowback Productions

Production Assistant: An American Bombing: The Road to April 19th

As a production assistant at Blowback Productions, I contributed to the post-production of An American Bombing: The Road to April 19th, a feature documentary released by HBO. My responsibilities included organizing archival footage, reviewing transcripts, and coordinating with editors and producers to help shape a complex narrative about the events leading to the Oklahoma City bombing. This experience gave me a deeper understanding of documentary storytelling and the collaborative process behind high-impact investigative films. Watch the trailer for the documentary here.

JO205

In this short documentary, I followed the story of Zack Cousins, a Boston College senior running for New York State Assembly. I shot, produced, and edited the piece as part of a semester-long project, aiming to capture both the personal and political sides of a young candidate balancing college life with a grassroots campaign. This project deepened my interest in character-driven political storytelling and taught me how to build narrative through interviews, pacing, and visuals.

JO351

As part of my journalism coursework at Boston University, I wrote, filmed, and produced two original news packages covering real-world stories from start to finish. These projects challenged me to think critically as both a reporter and a storyteller—crafting pitches, conducting interviews, capturing footage, and editing each piece independently. They reflect my interest in character-driven reporting and my growing skills in multimedia production.
